Seedlings Social & Therapeutic Horticulture

“Allowing nature to guide our growth”

Our evidence-based social and therapeutic horticulture programmes are cutting edge and unique in Ireland. With our highly trained staff, we accept internal referrals for individuals with autism to participate in meaningful activities. Each programme is tailored to an individual and their goals.

At the end of each three-month programme, our facilitators conduct assessments and provide expert recommendations to our colleagues for activities for further development.

Happy #WorldSmileDay 😊

We’re celebrating by sharing some of the joyful moments across Praxis Care that have brought smiles to the faces of the individuals we support and those who support them.

🎉 Rory from Kimberley House started his first volunteer job in the local community and the staff couldn’t be more proud of his progress!

🌱 Our Seedlings team in Cork won the Innovation Award at our Quality Conference for transforming gardening into a person-centred therapeutic service—such an amazing achievement.

🎨 Volunteers from Danske Bank UK recently gave the office at Banbridge a fresh pink makeover during their team day, which made Service Manager Carly very happy with the warm and welcoming atmosphere it created!

⚽️ Our Mulhuddart Day Service had a fantastic time attending a St Patrick's Athletic FC night game in Dublin, which brought smiles all around.

🥞 Simon from Glenroyd savoured a delicious pancake breakfast before heading to the promenade, where he enjoyed one of his favourite pastimes: taking in the lovely sea views and fresh air.

What’s made you smile recently? Spread the joy & let us know in the comments! 😄✨
