Supporting Mental Health in Northern Ireland

Praxis CareΒ has been supporting individuals affected by mental ill health for over 30 years. We support people who experience a variety of challenges ranging from anxiety and depression to schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder and personality disorders.

We believe that anyone living with mental ill health should be supported in their recovery journey, in a community setting that works for them, to live the life they choose. We provide a range of accommodation and support services, including; supported living, domiciliary care, day activity and befriending services.

The befriending services are particularly effective for people who have all the practical skill for community living, but experience loneliness and isolation helping to address these issues.

Last Friday, 5 amazing volunteers from TP ICAP Group joined us at our Cliftonville Road service to give a couple of rooms a well-deserved refresh! The common area now has a calming shade of green, creating a peaceful space for everyone to enjoy. πŸ’š

They also brightened up the dining room with a vibrant yellow makeover, and the residents are absolutely loving the transformation! πŸ’›πŸŽ‰

🐻✨ A Beary Special Outing for Conlig Day Services ✨🐻

The group had a wonderful time visiting Paddington Bear in Newtownards Square!

The statue has been set up as part of the Paddington Visits trail, with over 20 statues being installed on benches across the UK and Ireland.

It was a day filled with fun, friendship, and of course, a little marmalade! 🍊😊
