North Down and Ards Supported Living Services is a range of supported accommodation services. A DISH service for 8 people within the Bangor and Newtownards area with the main office in 18 William Street, Newtownards. Carmen Lane for 10 adults located in 5 Carmen Lane, Bangor and Newtownards Area.
We support adults with mental ill health. The level of complexity of needs varies depending on the diagnosis of the service user. Some tenants have a dual diagnosis of mental health needs and learning disabilities.
We provide
- A Flat Cluster of groups of flats with staff support in close proximity 24/7. Each individual flat consists of a separate kitchen and living area, bedroom and bathroom. Communal lounge areas are also included. Range of activities are offered within the service, Gardening groups, walking groups, cinema clubs and many more.
- Dispersed intensively supported housing (DISH) where individuals are supported within a community setting with support offered during the day.

This service is funded by SEHSCT and Supporting People.
Referrals can be made by professionals such as statutory keyworkers, GPs, social workers. All referrals need to go through a panel process and referral forms and all other relevant information are to be presented to the Care Manager within the Mental Health Service of the SEHSCT to be heard at an arranged panel.
