Dunleer Day Service is a day service for adults located in Dunleer, Co. Louth
We support adults with intellectual disabilities, autism and behaviours that can cause concern.
We provide day services that provide interesting, fulfilling and varied activities for individuals to develop their skills and enjoy a social atmosphere during the day.
We aim to enhance each individual’s quality of life by supporting them to build and develop a range of skills; this can range widely but can include skills such as daily living skills, social skills and safety skills. We support attendees to access bridging programmes to vocational training and support for inclusion in one’s local community. Everyone is allocated a key worker and is supported to develop a timetable that reflects their likes and needs. We have a focus on implementing positive behavior support.
Dunleer Day Service is guided by the HSE New Directions Interim Standards and the National Framework for Person-Centered Planning.
This service is funded by HSE
