Clongriffin Day Service, based in North County Dublin, provides skills-based training to individuals we support, five days a week. Individuals are provided with a safe environment based on inclusion and following the HSE New Directions Guidelines.
The service provides quality care, day activities and support to individuals over the age of 18 who experience Intellectual Disability, Mental Ill Health and / or Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who are assessed as requiring supports to enable them to live the life they wish within a safe and nurturing community environment. The centre promotes options and choices, underpinned by a person centred, evidence based needs led approach.
We provide individualised programmes of day activity while promoting choice, control and social inclusion. It is our aim that each person is enabled to achieve their maximum level of independence, through fulfilling meaningful social roles, accessing education streams, building vocational skills, and being supported in personal development, health and wellbeing.
We also support active citizenship and promote full participation in the community.
Referrals can be made by HSE statutory key workers from the disability team.
