Brookwood is a residential service for children located in Donaghmede.
Brookwood, Children’s Residential Scheme provides high quality care for young people under 18 years of age, who cannot live within their family home and require an alternative placement. Brookwood provides long term care for young people with intellectual disabilities, on the Autistic Spectrum and who may display behaviours that challenge. Brookwood helps support young people to maintain family relationships and helps young people build appropriate relationships with peers and organisations in the local community. The services provided by Brookwood focus on meeting the individual needs of young people within a nurturing environment. Each individual has a programme of leisure and social activities in place to encourage and challenge young people to reach their fullest potential. We ensure that staff have the necessary skills and knowledge to be able to deliver the specialist care and support required and encourage active learning and social interactions.
We provide:
- Group Housing with shared communal facilities (living and kitchen areas) while each individual has their own bedroom. Staff are available 24/7.
