Antrim & Ballyclare Supported Living Services is a domiciliary care service for adults aged between 18-65 located in the Antrim & Ballyclare area.
We support adults who have experienced severe and enduring mental illness. Diagnoses include schizophrenia, emotional unstable personality disorder, autism spectrum conditions and bipolar disorder, which can sometimes be interlinked with a learning disability, forensic history and/or dual diagnosis.
We provide:
- Group Housing with shared communal facilities (living and kitchen areas) while each individual has their own bedroom. Staff are available 24/7.
- A Flat Cluster of groups of flats with staff support in close proximity 24/7. Each individual flat consists of a separate kitchen and living area, bedroom and bathroom. Communal lounge areas are also included.
- Dispersed intensively supported housing (DISH) where individuals are supported within a community setting with support offered during the day.
Staffing in Ballyclare is on a 24/7 basis, including a sleeping overnight. Ballyclare is also an on‐call base for our Antrim tenants, as Antrim direct support is only staffed until 9 pm.
This service is funded by Supporting People and the Northern Health and Social Care Trust.
Referral Process Referrals are accepted from members of the Northern Health & Social Care Trust including Community Mental Health Team. Support is on a voluntary basis and the person must want to engage with the service.
