The Avenue
The Avenue is a residential service for adults located in Ardee, Co. Louth. We support adults with mental ill health, intellectual disabilities and autism. We provide group housing with shared...
We have been supporting individuals affected by mental health issues for over 30 years; people who experience a variety of mental health problems ranging from anxiety, and depression to schizophrenia, bi-polar and personality disorders.
We believe that anyone experiencing a Mental Health condition should be supported in their recovery journey, in a community setting that works for them, to live the life they choose. We provide a range of accommodation and support services, including; supported living, domiciliary care, day activity, counselling and befriending services.
The befriending services are particularly effective for people who have all the practical skill for community living, but experience loneliness and isolation helping to address these issues.
There’s nothing like a beach day to soak up the sunshine! ☀️
Navan Mullaghboy and Drumconrath Day Services embraced the brighter days with a trip to Laytown Beach. 🌊
It’s great to see so many of our services getting outdoors and enjoying the season in their own way!

We were proud to welcome Emer Currie TD - Dublin West to our Mulhuddart Day Service last week, where she saw first-hand the impact of our work supporting young adults with autism and intellectual disabilities.
The service promotes independence, life skills and community inclusion through activities like swimming, hiking, music therapy and volunteering opportunities.
A big thank you to Emer for recognising the importance of services like this in Dublin West and beyond. 💙
