Join our team at Praxis Care as Head of Property and play a pivotal role in providing high quality care and support.
About The Role:
- You will play a key role within Praxis Care supporting the ROI and Organisational Senior Leadership Team to manage the effective operational delivery and on-going property management of all capital assets to an agreed specification, process, timescale and budget across ROI. In addition – you will have specific oversight (as functional lead) to construction activity across the entirety of the organisation’s asset portfolio.
- You will support Praxis Care to deliver a modern, efficient and sustainable property portfolio which is compliant with all relevant regulations and which enables effective and safe delivery of care and support to the people who access our services, staff and stakeholders.
- You will directly manage the effective programme of asset sale / acquisition / lease / tenancy, development / refurbishment / upgrade, cyclical maintenance, reactive maintenance and routine building works to meet the needs of Praxis Care and those engaging with us across ROI.
What It Takes:
This person will have years of recent Property Development & Management experience and a wide base of knowledge about the policies and procedures, with a degree in one of the following areas: Engineering, Construction / Property, Facilities Management.
Applicants must demonstrate over a 4 year period, how they have:
- Managed third party contractors and experts
- Experience of construction Project Management / Asset / Estates Management
- Met organisational targets and objectives
- Experience of managing both a reactive and cyclical property maintenance and improvement programme
- Effectively managed staff

Location: Ardee, Co. Louth
Salary: €63,313 – €79,779 per annum (per annum, pro-rated. Salary dependent on experience)
