We believe that finding the right place to live and the right support is key to empowering adults to live the life they choose.
We have been working alongside individuals with mental ill health and associated behavioural complexities for over 35 years. Our aim is safe, healthy, positive, engaging and meaningful experiences contributing to recovery, improved quality of life and increasing independence.
Praxis Care provides bespoke, integrated community based accommodation and support, directly and in partnership with housing providers. We can provide a range of options including; supported living, floating support, domiciliary care, day activity, counselling and befriending services – tailored to each person and changing as their individual needs change.

To kick things off, we’re excited to share a glimpse into the history of befriending at Praxis Care. From our humble beginnings in 1981, providing a vital befriending service to those with mental ill health experiencing isolation, to establishing a network that has connected over 160 friendships, we’re proud of the connections we've fostered along the way.
