Praxis Care is seeking to appoint new board / sub committee members with knowledge and expertise in the following areas:
- Care operations
- HR
- Legal matters
- Finance
We are looking for exceptional individuals to join our Board. Specifically, we are seeking individuals to support and drive an organisation that has grown to have a turnover of approx. £70m.
All Board Members share responsibility for ensuring the good governance of the organisation; the overall governance and strategic direction and sustainability of Praxis Care; the development of its Mission, Vision and Values, the development of the organisation’s strategic objectives in accordance with the Memorandum and Articles of Association and other legal and regulatory guidelines.
Time Commitment
The total time commitment for the post holder is estimated at 6 hours per month.
The Board meets once every two months. Board members also attend the Annual General Meeting and other strategic/planning meetings throughout the year. There is an expectation that all Board Members attend at least 2 meetings per year in person, including the AGM.
Board Sub Committees also meet bi-monthly and it would be anticipated that Board Members actively participate in the Sub Committee relevant to their expertise / background.
Board Term Duration
Board Members are appointed for a 3-year term which may be renewed for a further 2 terms, subject to re-election.
