Praxis Care Celebrates 40 Years

2024 is a milestone year for Praxis Care

Praxis Care became a registered charity on 3 July 1984. This year, we are taking every opportunity to celebrate an incredible 40 years of care shaped around the individual.

We have gone from modest beginnings offering mental health services and volunteer befriending support in Northern Ireland to now supporting people with mental ill health, learning disabilities, autism and dementia supported across the UK, Ireland and the Isle of Man.

Thousands of people have benefited from Praxis Care’s support, directly or as loved ones who have seen the difference person-centred care has made. Our legacy extends to the countless individuals who have been a part of Praxis Care as dedicated staff and volunteers. They have experienced the value of our formal learning and development opportunities, on-the-job skill building, and meaningful relationships fostered over time.
