Castle Lane Court

Castle Lane is a combination of group living, a flat cluster and bungalows. We currently have 19 residents who all have a diagnosis of a learning disability along with other physical disabilities or mental ill health.

We provide:

• Group Housing with shared communal facilities (living and kitchen areas) while each individual has their own bedroom. Staff are available 24/7.
• A Flat Cluster of groups of flats with staff support in close proximity 24/7. Each individual flat consists of a separate kitchen and living area, bedroom and bathroom. Communal lounge areas are also included.
• A bungalow cluster of two bungalows shared by two residents in each bungalow, with communal facilities (living and kitchen areas), each resident has their own individual bedroom.
• Day services that provide interesting, fulfilling and varied activities for individuals to develop their skills and enjoy a social atmosphere during the day.

Staff work with all residents, the shifts vary from 8am-9pm, and 9am-10pm, 2pm-10pm and waking night cover from 10pm – 8am.

The care and support provided to all is completed on an individual basis and can vary depending on ability and need. These tasks can range from personal care, cooking and cleaning support, financial management, support with medications, attending the gym, going to the cinema, attending medical appointments, etc. Individual outings or group day trips happen throughout the week.

Referrals can be made by professionals such as statutory keyworkers, GPs and social workers.
