Banbridge

Praxis Care Banbridge is a supported accommodation service with floating support, located in Banbridge town.

We support adults with mental ill health.

We provide:

• Group Housing with shared communal facilities (living and kitchen areas) while each individual has their own bedroom. Staff are available 24/7.
• A Flat Cluster of groups of flats with staff support in close proximity 24/7. Each individual flat consists of a separate kitchen and living area, bedroom and bathroom.
• Short-term Floating Support services delivered to individuals in their homes to maximise independence with housing-related support.

Praxis Care Banbridge is located in close proximity to Banbridge GP surgery and Health Care Village. We are within walking distance of Banbridge town, leisure centre and swimming pool and the local bus station. There is a local nearby grocery store, butcher, fruit and vegetable shop and chip shop.

We offer support with medication, budgeting, meal preparation/planning, shopping, daily living tasks as well as ongoing emotional support when needed.

Staff facilitate a wide variety of workshops led by residents’ interests, including gardening, baking, walking group, reading group, beauty, art and more. The purposes of the workshops are to promote positive engagement, increase skill levels and build confidence.

This service is funded by the Southern Trust, Supporting People and self-funding.

Referrals can be made by professionals such as statutory keyworkers, GPs and social workers.
