What’s the Role? 

The Head of Finance will be reporting into the Director of Finance, your main responsibilities would be:

• – Overseeing and managing the Finance function for the Group and associated companies.
• – Producing and distributing timely financial management information, including key statistical data, and identifying underlying trends for action.
• – Developing, implementing, and maintaining finance policies, procedures, and related documentation, ensuring alignment with best practices and current legislation.
• – Liaising with Group Auditors in the production of Statutory Accounts.
• – Representing the Finance team in key business projects, including new business ventures and TUPE transfers.
• – Leading and developing the Finance team, ensuring consistent delivery of high standards across the department.

What do you need to succeed?

• – A full accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• – Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• – Proven experience in management accounting, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
• – Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• – Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• – In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting.
• – Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• – Demonstrate experience of use of computerised finance packages and experience in excel

Assistant Director of Finance | Lisburn Road, Belfast

• – Contract Type: Full time
• – Location: Hybrid between remote and Belfast
• – Salary: £52,000 – £67,000 (per annum, pro-rated. Salary dependent on experience)
