Navan Day Service

Navan Day Service is a day service for young adults located in Navan Co Meath.


We support adults with autism and intellectual disabilities in a New Directions led service.


We offer day services that provide individualised supports along with fulfilling and varied activities, giving individuals opportunities to develop their skills and enjoy a social atmosphere during the day.

Navan Day Service currently provides a New Directions led day service to adults with intellectual disabilities and autism and/or complex needs. The service promotes activate participation, community inclusion, choice, control and support to progress needs of further education and employment. Each person we support has programmes devised from their individual needs in which they are working towards progressing towards or meeting their outcomes. These needs include the needs of empowerment in which we aim to develop each individual’s awareness on areas such as advocacy, safeguarding and their individual support plans in a format suitable to their communication needs. Individual daily activity plans are person centred and meaningful with a combination of both in scheme and community activities. The main target group has been school leavers but is available to all adults with a range of needs. The service is led by those we support’s needs and also offers the opportunity to avail of an outreach and in reach service.

Referrals can be made by professionals such as HSE statutory keyworkers.
